On Twitter some subtlety and ability to communicate a short message, is needed. With 140 characters per message and a rapid update of content, we should take everything into account: punctuation marks, understandable messages, add links … and other irrelevant details in advance, can determine the success in this social network.
According to experts in social media like Dan Zarrella o Guy Kawasaki, who made experiments and studies on specific behaviors of Twitter users, we can apply some recommendations to help us make more visible our tweets on Twitter.
About Twitter account:
- Fully set up your profile on Twitter: an accurate bio, put a link in your profile, upload a picture.
- Follow to get followers: search for relevant keywords and follow people using them.
- Don’t follow many more people than are following you.
- Bit.ly is more retweetable than TinyURL
- Retweets use longer words
